Yes, I've switched From Wordpress to Posterous

Considering the vast amounts of time and money I've spent the past couple of years customizing a premium theme for a self-hosted Wordpress installation--and the fact that I just love Wordpress--it may seem counter-intuitive that I've just now made the switch to Posterous.

I've been keeping an eye on Posterous for a long time, and I just love the simplicity of the service. I'm right now using Gmail as my text editor, and it just works for me. I could go on and on about the pros and cons, but in general I'm already putting the majority of my working hours into the cloud, so to speak, and Posterous is a perfect fit for the way I'm communicating right now.

No more bothering with tweaking CSS. No more meddling with servers and paying for storage. No more setting up integrations and syndication via RSS etc. I now have the Posterous crew doing all of that that for me. I'll just focus on content then. I can't wait to see what they come up with next.

I'm leaving my old blog up for SEO-purposes, but that's about it.
